Odor Tips
Eliminating odor from your dumpster can be a problem but the following tips will help you reduce the odor. Tightly bag your trash before placing it in your container as this will help to reduce garbage spillage therefore reducing any bacteria build up. Also waiting until the end of your rental to dispose of anything that might start to smell if left in the hot sun for awhile.
Bulky Item Tips:
If you have bulky items to dispose of such as home furniture, office furniture, and/or exercise equipment. It is best to put these items in your dumpster first to ensure you have room for your big items. These items are typically taller than the container and stick out over the top therefore needing special container and/or scheduling for the removal of these items.
Servicing Tips:
Your SLC dumpster rental company’s priority is the safety of all and therefore we offer the following service area tips. To maintain clear and safe access to your container please place your container in an open and/or well-lit area as well as ensuring that the overhead clearance is a minimum of 14 feet in height, staying clear of any power lines. This will not only protect you, but also the driver as well.
Avoiding Missed Pick Ups:
Please help us to ensure your SLC dumpster rental company has clear access to your container. Vehicles are not to be parked in front and/or on the side of your container. If you are located in areas that have snow please make sure the area is clear of this as well on service day(s). Also, if your container is inside an enclosure, please make sure the gates are unlocked on your service day(s).

Materials that go over the top of the container, hazardous waste, barrels, all liquids, antifreeze, dead animals, asbestos, medical waste, railroad ties, industrial waste, paint (except for dried latex paint cans with no liquids), flammable liquids, solvents, radioactive material, pesticides and herbicides, chemical products, fluorescent tubes, microwaves, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, oil filters, transmission oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.), antifreeze, appliances, petroleum contaminated soil, lead paint chips, televisions, monitors, computers, batteries, and tires.
